I think this is better than The Beatles. The Beatles version to me just sounds a little boring with only string instruments, but Ray took a whole new direction with the song

What?? He had not been on heroin for nearly 10 years when he did this. Ray went cold turkey 1966 when he got arrested in Boston Airport. And its was The Beatles who were on drugs when they wrote this song XD not The Father of Soul
