This song was from the LP "1100 Bel Air Place" and "Swept Away", but I do have the 45 of this song. I remember this song since I was a kid back when I was living in Puerto Rico. Diana Ross and Julio Iglesias are the best. This was one of the best songs ever during her post-Motown years. Diana left Motown and went to RCA from 1981 until 1988 for 7 years until she came back to Motown in 1989 for "Working Overtime", one of her last albums before Motown's founder Berry Gordy left and sold the label.

There's nobody like Smokey. I spent my teenaged years (the 60's) living in Virginia, having moved there from Alaska...and that's when I fell in love with the Motown sound and Smokey was one of my favorites...still is. What a unique voice. And I love this song.

i remember a dude in the junior high school talent show in 1980 trying to cover this song, he had the cool chair with the mic in his hand (and sprite in glass) and was singing the song okay, the only problem is that he had ashy legs and ugly dirty brown socks with one falling down. Everybody clowned him but you had to sing Smokey's song because it was bad as hell. Nothing like Old skol black music.
