I live in Tsukuba and I go to this ramen restaurant about once a week. Great ramen!! My max is about 400g though. If you go there get the tsukemen with "futo-men" (thick noodle) and a "han-buta"(half pork topping) and you'll be in heaven. The basken robbins ice cream store she mentions went under though. :(

Thanks! I went there today. Waited for about an hour (1pm on a Thursday). The master is totally serious, just like the video. And yeah, this was the best miso ramen I've ever had.

Hmm....you seem to have something against the Japanese...this is only one type of soup. There are many types of soups in Japan (Clear,thick etc) THIS particular one is made from PORK BONES SO THERE IS NO BLOOD OR IMPURITIES. Scum and fats are cleared during the cooking process. Its boiled for a long time till the soup becomes creamy. have you tasted Tonkotsu?? Do you make Tonkotsu?? No?? Then don't say anything

the eggs are are made in this way i guess ... :bring the eggs from the fridge and keep it for like 20 mins at warm temperature ... then boil them at a veeeeeeeeeeery high temperature so that the egg white is cooked before the egg yold ... the 20 mins preccess is essential so that the egg wont crack when boiled in high temepature due to the heat differance
