Old version is the best and this video is better. So, great idea to much them! ;) My fav song by Nightwish. Tarja forever will be in my heart and soul like a wonderful lead singer of Nightwish. Don't get me wrong, Anette is good, but I prefer Tarja ;) I wrote a lot of comments of people who love Tarja/love Anette, and I thing that all of us can make our own opinion and write it. For example, I love Tarja, but this is only MY opinion. Love that song. My fav of Nightwish. Best wishes for fans ;)

Mind you people said the same thing when Phil Collins replaced Peter Gabriel in Genesis. Nightwish has simply moved in different direction. A band is simply the sum of it's parts. Can Tarja exist on her own? Can Nightwish? A great singer without great songs is doomed.

The old version is way more epic and full of feeling with the opera tone than the newer. OI almost think that they ruined their "own" song by "fixing" it.

I can't imagine Anette singing this song... It's perfectly made for Tarja.. for me it's a masterpiece of NW.. only made for her o for an extremily gifted woman with a lyric voice.. this song is amazing..

Tarja was definitely the core of Nightwish, and Annette's voice is not as good for singing Tuomas' songs. Doesn't mean new Nightwish is bad, but it's not as good.

"it was a metal/opera band turned into pop" a) Nightwish was and is symphonic power metal. b) Pop is not bad, look at R.E.M., The Beatles, Tears for Fears, Keane, The Cure. "i hate pop and thats why i want tarja back" It was not Tarja, that made Nightwish metal, it is the music. Tarja doesn't even like metal.
