Don't know the answer to your questions. SMPfilms, who is the 11th most subscribed of all time, just had another one of his videos featured last week (the fortune teller one). He doesn't need any more exposure. It's dog eat dog, people.

i totally agree chanels out there have very little or no subscribers and they are really good too yet the "big boys"of youtube just wanna have the subs to themselves(at least most)the only time really i've seen someone feature someone was when the yt celeb got tagged.great vid 5 stars

I can't believe it's taken me this long to see this video (maybe because it was buried under all of those movie reviews). These are major problems even a year after this video was made. This needs to be fixed now. YouTube has had plenty of time to make these changes and done nothing. We can't let this go on any longer. Respect your users YouTube because we are why you still exist. Same goes for the partners who aren't sharing the wealth.

i know what you mean, for instance Fred (funny guy) makes one video every few days, i put up new videos all the time and he gets thousands more views than me, not that he doesnt deserve them, but his channel is huge and he ahs less than 20 videos (right now), and i have 50

man your getting to obsesed with views and sfuff. I know before you was a bit obsessed bout getting people to subscribe and stuff, and even offered DVDS and stuff. But your going a bit to far. plus now your videos are only able to be viewed if their viewed by your friends. whats the matter with you they should be able to be viewed by anyone you review movies thats all next time il just go to someone else :(
