U love this song...its funny, most goths at 20 or under dont even know Sisters of Mercy existed...or at least the ones my age (16-19) dont...but why? They are amazing. I'm a sisters fan...they started off my whole fucking scene. Anyway, beautiful song!

I happen to love this song and, yes, I am a Nick Cave fan. But you must admit that the Casiotone sound kind of makes it sound like, well, a poor man's Nick Cave. This song on a real piano must be a blast. (Plus: the black tie, black suit and white shirt thing was blatantly stolen from either Nick Cave or Nick Drake). Awesome song, but it could've been done a hell of a lot better, don't you think?

Do I know who Nick Cave is? Well, yeah! Im a big fan but They are so different! As I said below I love Nick Cave but but no means are the Sisters a poor mans version of the Nick Cave. You obviously haven't heard much material of the Sisters Of Mercy as most people who know there music would agree that they are two totally different sort's of artists. Buy one one of there albums and open your ears then make a comment. :)

Who knows? Maybe he gave his Aviators to Harlan Ellison. Since Andrew Eldritch was born in "1959" the song is probably about childhood and growing up. But the lyrics are vague enough for other interpretations.
