Yoko, that was beautiful! I've always been an admirer of John's work, and yours too because of him, even though I don't generally agree with your (or John's) religious or political views. Philosophically, there are some things we agree on. I believe in peace and love. But I also believe that God is love, and that Jesus is the Prince of peace. John was a strong independent man, he divorded Cynthia because he fell in love with another woman, simple as that, if it had not been Yoko, it would of been someone else. But everyone's already commented on the clues of her heavy influence...He was an easy influenced person, and Yoko definately changed him, whether for the better or worse I can't be sure but he did write some wonderful songs while they were together. but i've heard that Yoko Kanno doesn't composer solely on herself, she composed most of the songs with a TEAM (bunch of people)! which is contrary to Yuki kajiura, who composed by HERself only. and that's the reason why we can hear many similarities from Kanno's works with other classical composers. her "team" might suggest those songs, and Kanno just re-mixed them, not 100% composed them. is this true? can anybody confirm this?

Wherever it was recorded and people were correct, it was Cold Spring Harbor! You win the prize! It is a cool video but a bit dark. But from what Fred Seaman wrote, the house was a bit dark in it's indoor atmosphere. I loved the story about the thanksgiving dinner they had at Cold Spring Harbor right after they bought it. Probably my favorite episode of the GITS series, i was so surprised by this one the first time I viewed it, the song makes me cry a bit. For the story: the boy is supposed to be the imigrants chief the only person of the eleven individuals who stay alive in the serie. check stand alone complet first season to understand how all is related.
