I also wanted to comment on the scene in which it shows the infant in the skull... Tapping back to the song "lateralus" occording to maynard we can be much more in our own human forms. I believe that by that simply visual he is explaining that we have so much more developement to the soul and mind, and we need to see that with our spiritual eyes... the twin eyes shown in the video, leave the body and re-enter not through our minds eyes, but through the hands. Directly to the soul.

I agree that this song is undeniably orgasmic (but maynard can do that with any song) and the video is fucking brillient but it's too straight foward! (if you know tool you'll understand) maynard speaks lies to tell the truth but in this song, he bassacally just speak the truth. It's sort of a dissapointment. I would have to say Opiate was the greatest because it had paved the way to what Tool is today. If you follow the albums they just keep getting better. I just have a few comments about 10,000 Days. Yes it kicks ass but I feel they used to much material fillers for this album. Aenima had some but it played with the album not on the new one. Tool kicks ass!!

to shift gears from bickering to appreciation, I give the band 88 thumbs up for composing a seven minute plus song that "whether religious or tantric or just plain angst, hurt, hope, despair and love" in origin, it's a masterpiece of musical compilation. and I'm not even a major Tool fan. If you want to see stellar drumming, well LOL Danny Carey of course, look up Jimmy Chamberlin ( from Smashing Pumpkins) , Dave WEckl, Thomas Lang, Mike Portnoy, Neil Peart. THose are drummers with talent. Lars can't hold a candle to their playing. Lars plays arena style rock drumming. Not great, but not bad either. Each style has it's place I suppose. Just in the level of mastery Lar's gets smoked by most drummers out there today.

I have played Rock Band to many times to count, and I can easily tell that these are quieter, I've seen almost every GHWT demonstration, from IGN to GameTrailers, and these are the loudest I've ever heard the drums. Also, the fact that these are made from silicon should tell you that they are quieter than the rock band plastic. Sorry 'bout the assumption of your political views, but your favorites page is misleading. Label me judgmental if you will, For I was.
