John was nursing a cold and sore throat that day too. And was the last song recorded in a 11 hour marathon recording session at Abbey Road studios. There was only 15 minutes left of the alloted recording time. Later on of course, the Beatles got all the studio time they wished, and had the run of the place.

I found the dvd on Amazon. Evidently there is more than one. Mine has English on front and the song list on back is English. Almost everything else is in Portuguese. The dvd is Tears for Fears Going to California. Just read the description and make sure you get the right one.(The cover has 9 segments, not the cover with 2 picture segments.) I highly recommend this!!

I have this DVD. Excellent!! Roland has the best and most versatile voice in the last 25 years. He sounds a little different in almost every song although you can tell it is Roland because his voice is just so unique. I hope he keeps it for 25 more years!!! Genius!

Also the song blew up even more after the beatles sung it. I'm sure that would piss anyone off to find your song only being popular when another group/band sung it especially when it was really good the first time and the other band didn't improve it in anyway. The only possible reasons is maybe because they were white that the song blew up or maybe because they were a new band. Whatever the reason I can't say for sure. But more to the point this song is good no matter who sings it. A CLASSIC.

Like the video said white people integrated black music into their own. Many people think of this as stealing rather than integrating because the majority does not recognize where/who these songs originated from. The only thing i didn't like was that the beatles made the song very karaoke style in the sense that they didn't really change anything. In fact if the beatles had a more rich instead of rough voice the song would have been identical. They should of added their own twist to the song.

The only reason why I think black people get upset over this is because the isley brothers weren't really credited with the song. Many people thought twist and shout was an original Beatles song and not a cover. But it's understandable for Black people to get upset over such a trivial matter because in history some european people stole black ideas.

US audiences are a bit obnoxious. I think they understand how many of them really don't care about the band but rather care for their music. All they do is headbang and do mosh pits. Which in a way is a clear symbol at times that they only care for the music. However Japanese bands stand in awe and amazement and watch them perform their beautiful compositions. There are times however that they do headbang or wave hands in the hair, but it's a very specific time when the band tells them to enjoy!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I was bored with American metal about..............1 and 1/2 years ago. Well mainly because there was nothing different. They were all the same, they played the same, they had terrible composition, and they either had a super dumb high voice where you can't understand anything, or just growl mindlessly with a double bass drum beat in the background. JRock is so unique....Dir en Grey, The Gazette, Versailles, Nightmare and so much more. Enjoy man!

I loved his first CD but this track personally reminds me more of John Mayer than Dylan. He's talented but needs to stay clear of a pop sounds like this and stick to a soulful acoustic, that's his killer niche. Can't fault him for experimenting though. He's still on the rise without a doubt!
