The reason you heard of him may have been from his suicide, but that's not the reason you didn't know him until his suicide. Your profile says you're only 19. I'm 26 myself. I read about DFW in Rolling Stones, until then I never heard of him or his books. He was writing these books and teaching at universities before people like you and I were even born tho. That is more likely why we didn't know him. His suicide he will be remembered for. Maybe he was genius, he wanted to be remembered.

Besides he was a victim of sorts or he wouldn't have killed himself. Depression is never an excuse nor is suicide either. There must have been something missing in himself or his life to have pushed him to commit that act. I know from personal experiences. thats a good tip but bad for architecture students you have to stablished properly 2vanishing point in true angles 30/60 or any of your choice to have a not distorted drawing but anyway by having those you need a bigger and wider table.

I agree...if i had never downloaded all the new music. I wouldn't be able to depict what is sold as a poor selection and what is sold as a good selection. Rarely do i ever get to buy a product at HMV that has my interests, if im lucky and i find a music cd i like, i usualy get this once or twice a month. Its that week. I loved the video, and I have two things in my comment. First of all, the people of Iran should and must reject a theocracy as form of government, for it is likely to commit abuses. By the way, the entire world must reject theocracy. No, I would be blaming Bush for removing Saddam who kept those terrorists from controlling his country. If the US leaves Iraq, there will probably be civil war since the current vichy-government is weak, but I doubt sneaky terrorists would be able to take power of a country like Iraq. The worst that could happen is an Iraqi general instauring a military dictatorship which wouldn't be that different from Saddam.

I'm assuming ppt templates are for powerpoint? If so, I'm not sure you can do much except create the layout in Inkscape, export it as a png and plunk that into PP. I'm not sure how useful that would be since nothing would be editable. You could do nice backgrounds and that would only involve creating a background with the proper proportions and exporting the png from Inkscape to use as a PP background. I'm not entirely clear on what you're doing. Send me a message to clarify if you want.

Thanks for your comments. One aspect that really concerns me about BPL is its ability to blanket whole suburbs with broadband noise. I purposely left the alternator noise in the video. Originally I thought about trying to get rid of the alternator noise but realised it was a good reference. Fortunately, we no longer have the BPL problem as the power company made a decision in November 2007 to stop the trial and the BPL kit was removed from poles around Hobart in January 2008.

Another thing that obliterates shortwave, but to a lesser extent is cable modems, they load the whole house from 1800 kHz to 20 Mhz with what sounds like AC mains hum, I have to go outside with a Digital Voice Recorder to receive SSTV pictures. But your situation is MUCH worse. You can't even hear the alternator of the automobile, and you're right on top of it (car electronic QRM is REALLY LOUD, and BPL PLC in a far off house knocks it off the air). Ethernet cables kill shortwave too.
