This is a good and simple way of looking at personality disorder. Of course there is a lot more in understanding personality disorders. It takes a lot of time and proper assessments done by professionals to determine if there truly is a personality disorder. Still I loved how this was done and used, very educational and entertaining at the same time. Loved it!

I'm a counselor, and I do see that it exists, but I think it's over diagnosed, esp. in women. It may be underdiagnosed in men who are either abusers or stalkers, esp. if there is guilt. Often men are overdiagnosed as antisocial, assuming they don't feel guilt. Of course, there's fake remorse in courtrooms, but that's not a gender thing! True remorse practically negates the possibilty that somebody's truly sociopathic.

I am now what's called a high functioning transparent borderline. At one time in my life I was severely low functioning. The one problem I have come across is there are very few psychiatrists (at least where I live) who do truly understand the true borderline personality and how fragile they really are. I've had many and none of them specialized in the disorder. This guy is right. Too many doctors who don't want to take the time to understand the patient just throw the label out there.
