Wow, the officiating crew really screwed this game up. Did they not realize that Johnson spiked the ball on first down? That blunder confused everyone, including the commentators. It's kinda hard to tell if the fans knew what was going on or not, but this totally falls on the officials heads. Horrible ending to a game if you're a fan of the Mizzou Tigers, but, nevertheless, this will always be a huge chapter in the annals of college football history.

However as credit is due they did win at NEBRASKA, they did tie a good UT VOLS team, and IMO I think the 1990 UW team was the best in college football, im still baffled that they lost to UCLA. Yes, the USS NJ is in Camden water front in New Jersey just about and hour and a half from my house, I see her sitting there but i've never actually visited it, but I have always wanted to. I am sorry to say they are all retired. there were 6 iowa class battleships planned and 4 completed . these were the Iowa, Missouri,Winsconsin and the New Jersy. 3 of them are now museums and the Iowa is soon to be turned into one. The US navy retains them for possible reactivation in the event of a war but with the soviet unions collapse and no imediate need for such vessels in modern naval requirements I doubt it

She's now a museum in Pearl Harbor, HI. Actually, the equipment we used for 16" gunnery in 1991 was mostly installed when the ship was built during WWII. I believe he shore bombardment computer was installed for the Korean War. Anyhow, everything was antique when we used it, but it still worked. Fire control systems have been around for a long time. Amazing, huh?

Quite a bit of asbestos was removed in the 80's modernizations. But there is still a lot of asbestos left. Regardless of that, the slow rate of opening processes is highly affected by funding. The Navy only appoints people to go aboard and deactivate critical systems that public will have "hands on" contact with. The money for such is from the museum organizations and state funding. As we all know, it takes a lot of time to make a vessel that size a "safe" environment for mass public access.

I've always looked up to Michael J. Fox since I have first watched BTTF when I was 10, as a role-model. This just increases my respect for him. Speaking that he supports Stem Cell Research, but does it in a peaceful way, very fairly, and understanding, makes me admire and respect him that much more. Just a perfect person to look up to. I know that he will be blessed once again by God for this.
