When you read his autobiography you discover that a certain moment Milton got sick of singing Travessia over and over again. And because he was unable to sing it with the passion the songs deserves, he prefered not singing it at all. Later on he re-discovered Travessia and appreciated it for it's value. I saw him singing Travessia in Amsterdam last year and it was like a totally different song. Many famous artists go through a similar thing with their first succesful song.

You forgot the fact that the federal reserve can increase the money supply by printing more money, they don't do that because that is too transparent and obvious; however that's not a problem in Zimbabwe. Another point, building the pyramids would also not be good for the economy as it displaces labour and resources away from real wealth creation. What needs to be looked at is the opportunity cost: and the difference of what is seen to what is not seen. The hidden of misallocation of resources.

Why do people vote for bad government programs? THEY DON'T SEE THE COSTS. The Federal Reserve is the best way to hide costs, because no one ever complains about the inflation tax. Instead everyone blames the war in Iraq for the high gasoline prices and lawyers or speculators for the rising costs of medicine and housing.
