This was his best performance of the entire competition. I still don't get why he won though, he was a much weaker singer than various of the others, and his sob story wasn't as good as various of the others either. Pretty cool song, but it could've been produced a bit better. It sounds too obvious like a live recording (which it needs to be, but the trick is to make it not sound like it) I give major props for this band's bass, its not really difficult at all, but its very present and forward in their songs which i respect, plus i love his tone.

That was absolutely awesome. I only discovered them this year after seeing them on TV at Glasto. Bought 2 albums the next day and listened to Because Of The Times driving back from London on my own. This is my favourite song - blows me away. Going to see them in December at the BIC. And my Timberlake loving wife likes them too. How the fuck did that happen.
