Hi guys Been a hang glider pilot for more than 20 years with some further knowledge about some risks of this activity. No problem as soon as you can land some meters further than point of launch... but what happened if you found your kite caught from a strong thermal and lift you some 100-200m high. I wouldn't like to think about this. At least do this near the sea (with sea brease not a land brease)but don't try to do this inland.

Blades are great jump kites, and yes they come in 3 sizes i think 4.9 , 6.5 , 8.5 i have the 6.5 and yes its lifty with adjustable bridle on the blades you can set it to be really lifty, my m8 has the 8.5 and its more than enough lift for jumping trust me you dont need bigger. But 6.5 seems to be the perfect size. Anyways nice vid Brighton is awesome i go kiting on the Southdowns close by.

I have never seen this film, although I really have thought about it. I highly recommend this book, as it just may change your views; and perhaps even your life, forever. There is so much to stories like these; more than many people will ever know or even begin to understand. We operated it for a summer back on '06 and - on a perfectly calm day - you would need to go approx. 30-35 MPH in order to get a good ride out of the MantaRay. As you can see we did a couple things wrong during this particular ride, i.e. the buddy piloting my boat slowed down way to quickly, and the rider probably leaned forward too much. Plus it's a quirky 17 year old boat, so you can't blame the pilot. Chase, the guy who hit the water got some bruises & that's all. Good times!

I have one and i put two wake boards attached to it. Its pretty cool. Its illegal in some states 'cuz some people die. Its pretty fun. But you HAVE to be going against the wind. When you go with the wind, you gotta go like 60-70 mph. With the wind you only have to go like 15. Its actually pretty fun though. My buddy found out the hard way not to go with the wind.

In fact more NATO troops are dying in Afghanistan so far than in Iraq. Make no mistake--they aren't there to bring "freedom". The U.S. had deals with the Taliban about constructing a gas pipeline long before they went rogue. The poor in Afghanistan are in fact getting poorer. That and things aren't what they seem to be when you fight an insurgency. Britain got pushed out, so did the Soviets, and it won't be any different for us if current trends continue.

I see. I'll hold you to that--not trying to be argumentative on this video. It gets me anxious but I'll try to be clear. They managed to fly kites before the Taliban ever came to be, and that was thanks to America's funding of those bastards to begin with. Believe me, the West is anything but consistent in it's historical position onm Afghanistan. That's also for those who can afford kites..and the major source of income right now is poppy growth which has been used to fund the insurgency.

One I'm surprised at some people's choices, though I've only been a fan for nine years since I was 8... I wasn't around for the old stuff, although I actually rate it higher than their new work, save a few. We'll see what Novembers new album brings. Great song and great band.
