Total none committment... the owners must take full responsability for the food. if they are not bothered.. that relates to the staff. i own a business (12 years). my staff are motivated.. and very proud of what they do. Business is a team effort.

When I cook at home, I am so conscientious of cross contamination and proper food handling. I wash my hands and clean vegetables really well (in a pre-cleaned sink). I treat meat like it's contaminated (sanitize utensils, wash hands, cook thoroughly, etc.). I have taken no food safety courses nor do I work in a restaurant kitchen. Why are restaurants so poor at cleanliness and food handling? It's atrocious and one of the reasons I would never go to a small place like this.

there are times he compliments the owners about their food, but I only saw this happen like twice, it just proves how shit most restaurants really are. Even if customers give good reviews, they probably have low standards regarding food. THat Brian is a big baby lol.

The restaurants food seem to suck and it does show that Brian doesn't have much passion about food and cooking. But I think he's right, when he says that it's below 6th grade standard to call each other "panini head" and other stuff like that, which Ramsay does. In a stressed kitchen it's normal that things get a little hot and chiefs yell at each other, but still it doesn't help anything to come up with nicknames!

Actually afraid your wrong.1st of all I was on the show kitchen nightmares.The"show" itself was planned.Example the chicken thing and the shrimp thing. I've been workin for Chris for 3yrs and known Chris 4 10yrs Soo i think i know what Im talking about when i say shit was planned.All Gordon did was put paint on the walls n give us china. and no we didnt use his advice cuz people in Cranbury didnt like the menu he did. Its about the people! unless anyone has been on the show dont talk shit!

After having seen almost 2 seaons of this show, I know now that if I ever see Gordon Ramsay at a restaurant I'm eating in, I will leave in a HURRY! Having him oversee a restaurant is a big clue that it sucks :)

this show is retarded because it's all the same show step1: background then dude goes to place, eats food and criticizes the fuck out of it step2:watch owner get angry but then allow the first change which starts off seemingly great but then step3: complete melt down on the first try step4: everybody learns from mistakes and you think it might go wrong again but the people eat the food and it's great and it's all well same editing routine repeatedly but that guy is hilarious chef ramsay?
