I agree! Roy Clark is one of my top 10 guitarists. Look at my profile I published my list of favorite guitarists. Roy Clark had perfect guitar technique, and tone and makes it seem effortless. Some of those licks are almost impossible to play cleanly.

A lot of people feel that way. It was bluegrass that got me addicted to country music about 11 yrs ago. I understand the way you feel though, especially when you hear modern country, thats basically studio-pop and void of much creativity. There were other awesome guitarists in Country guitar too. Maybelle Carter, Joe Maphis, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, Buck Owens. Gotta love the chicken pickin' Roy Clark is doing here.

I hate country music...but love Roy Clark. The man is extremely brilliant. In the 50's he was mainly blues and jazz....though he had roots in bluegrass being a banjo player as well.....he crossed over to country in the 60's. I listen to rock and metal....Judas Priest,Rush,ZZ Top,Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Van Halen.....I really don't like country at all..........however Roy Clark is one of the best guitarists ever!!

I LOVED so much the 90's X-Men cartoon! Man... I really, REALLY miss Jubes' paffs or "ability to explode matter at a sub-atomic level". She is my favorite Marvel character by far and even if she is being portrayed amazingly in the New Warriors, I really, really want her powers to come back, and for crying out loud! Let the girl use them as we know she can!!

I agree with most of your post, except what you said about Rogue. While it's true they screwed her character up, the problem does not lie in her powers. The only reason she could fly or have super strength in the first place is because she absorbed permanently from another mutant, killing them. In the movies that never happened, so it's right that she shouldn't have those powers.

They really screwed up the way the X-men had been in the past in the movies.They didn't put Jubilee or Gambit in the movies as permanent characters,and where the hell did Nightcrawler go after X-2?! They didn't even give Rogue super strength and the ability to fly! They forgot to add so many ppl, that it really is disappointing. I love these tribute vids of them, cuz it makes me believe that they may still exist at least in the minds of their fans...and the cartoon rox,they NEED to air it again!

'Jubilee' is an unmissably awful film but kind of nasty fun...Jarman taking the piss on a low budget always made stuff worth watching if only out of amazement and curiousity where it was all going.He did do some great stuff though...just wish there was such energy around from some of the modern film makers who cannot understand you do not need millions to make memorable films.

Yes,memories like family.When I was a little girl my mom and I used to go to the barber shop because she had a afro and kept it neat. It was the 60s. Major Robinson was also a barber back then. He used to make sure I got a cold orange pop from the pop machine. He was the nicest man you'd ever want to meet.Then we would watch Jubilee Showcase on Sunday Mornings.What a treat. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of how branson used to be. There was not bright lights, bumper to bumper traffic, and prices that will make your wallet bleed. You did not go to silver dollar city for the rides you went for the cave, train, and the heartfelt country music. Thank you Oak Ridge boys for bringing back the fondest memories of my life in this song.

I live in Ozark MO. We're between Springfield and Branson. I wouldn't move out of the Ozarks for any amount of money. I love it here. Calico Rock looks like it's fairly close to Gainesville MO where my Father in Law lives. That is BEAUTIFUL country down there.
