Fantastisch. Die Videos geben leider nur spärlich wieder was er alles mit einer Gitarre anzustellen vermag. Unbedingte Empfehlung die CD 4 Miles 2 Davis im iTunes Music Store, oder noch besser, live hören. Ich hoffe, das endlich bald mal mehr von seinem enormen Repertoire veröffentlicht wird. A very very good place to start. Derek isn't like some other slide guitarists, because he rarely uses a pick-he's fingerstyle, mostly. But his tone is supreme. I've met (and been backstage with) Derek several times-he's also a really cool guy, and his chill-ness is part of what makes his tone so smooth.

One of the things I like most about John is how he doesn't take himself too seriously (or at all seriously? LOL). His appearances on Conan O'Brien are among my favorite TV moments. Just hilarious! John and his band have a really GOOD time while they're playing, too -- I love seeing a band who has fun when they have a concert! We saw Mannheim Steamroller years back and they just kinda stood there and played. I love their music, but the experience is totally different. Love you, John!

This is absolutely beautiful...I just finished reading John Tesh's book and its so amazing how he trusted God through everything he has done and all the risks he took to become the inspiration he is today..He produced every bit of this and I think his daughter Prima is actually one of the ballet dancers.
