Believe it or not Jem was decently animated for a cartoon of the 1980's, unlike nearly ALL the cartoons that play these days on Saturday mornings. Much of modern cartoons are badly (barely?) drawn to begin with.

I was hell confussed about the video's message aswell; apparently its about when Jem went to New York, and read a magazine where THEY said not to look people in the subway in the eyes; implying she would get killed/mugged etc. And she listen to the 'warning' and about a year or so later she realised it was just stupid. So its about not always listening to authority or what they try to tell you, they aren't always right.

Since suicide is also a transgression to the law and a bother to those left behind,she seems to feel a need for apologies.
