There's a difference between using the same subject for a joke and using the same structure that another comedian used. You should know this; I thought you were studying. Maybe study some basic linguistic skills before jumping ahead to anything else. Now, I'm referring to DC stealing from Louis CK, I have not yet looked at the evidence suggesting that CK stole from Steve Martin. I'm sure the latter is not too legitimate of a claim, but I will reserve my judgment for when I see the evidence.
