I saw this film yesterday. I quite enjoyed it. I loved seeing a darker animated Disney film, and this one was somewhat realistic, too. And now that I have seen this, I really can say Frollo is the Disney villain that scares me the most! His realism was stunning, and it's just so scary to think there are actually people like him out there. I was told the movie was idealized, and that the book is wayyyy different. I want to read the book now, too...

One that in his heart is pure evil but doesn't cause as much damage, or one that is murderous but has no depth. Those are the two different types of villains and that is why I said Frollo isn't as bad as most other villains because he doesn't cause as much destruction.

I Agree with the examples you gave except for Gaston he is definitely much more evil then this man. Yes I agree he is very sick, demented and just pure insane but not really to the extent of the others. It doesn't truly matter what he feels, it is more about the action. IMO, one will never find voiceovers in his own language really attractive or cool-sounding. Guess it's easier to find a language "cool" if you didn't grow talking it.
