It was supposed to get people talking. Everyone always wondered what it would be like if the Connor clan had money. It was parodying itself. There were some good episodes in that last season like when they went to Martha's Vineyard or when Roseanne met the witches coven trying to have Satan become Darlene's unborn baby (a play up on Rosemary's Baby). The girls from AbFab were in that one as well as Marlo Thomas. The final show was masterful though, tying it all together. Nobody saw it comin
