Will Ferrell is funny, he just needs to come up with new ideas, instead of sports movies. In Old School he was hilarious. MikeftE is right you have no brain and no sense of humor...

It doesn't matter who's wrong or right on the topic of Kurt and Nirvana in general, it just pains me to hear 'remixes' of a Grunge song. As I understand it, Courtney has sold a few of the rights away to some of the songs on Nevermind. If kids want to hear and respect the music, personally, I'd prefer they didn't torture the idea and meaning of the song in the process- just listen to it the way it was intended- please, no more remixes.

I love finding stuff like this on the tube, amazing to hear his story direct to the crowd. On a side note, the main reason the court case is an issue for many fans, is that Courtney stopped the release of a Boxset made by all three of them (Cobain/Novoselic/Grohl)- none of them need the money- they just want/wanted the better part of four years to be heard by the fans who love and adore the music so much. Many of the royalties are still in Kurt's name- so they would still be going to Frances.

Odds are really good that the questions were written before hand (they met before they got on stage) and he was asking them to introduce her to the audience. Dave's a musician, and Kaki is a little obscure. I've never really liked the foo fighters that much, but this was awesome. Idk, anything with Kaki King is the shit. I saw her live about 5 years ago opening for Soulive and she was amazing. Dave, Taylor, John Bonham, and many other "big" drummers play French grip (thumbs up), too. William was way too stiff with holding his sticks and using his wrists, though. If you watch the video of him and Dave playing with David Bowie in 1997, you'll see how stiff he keeps his wrists while Dave, playing the same part, doesn't. William otherwise is a great drummer and I'm pretty sure he fixed his technique, since he still drums with the Fire Theft.

Wlliam goldsmith was a great drummer. He just played differently. I am obviously a giant fan of grohl's drumming but shit you can't expect William to be exactly like Grohl in playing. William Goldsmith and Nate Mendel has been two of my fav bands Sunny Day Real Estate and Foo Fighters. It is cool look back at the early days of the foo. Mike watt kicks ass. they went through i think about 8 drummers before getting dave as their official drummer. Grohl's my idol though as far as music is concerned. His vocals a drumming skills are great, and he's not a bad guitarist at all either. Gotta love em. The man's a living legend in my eyes.
