Download festival 2007 was basically a shrine to the memory of Dimebag Darrell, and we, being 2 young to get booze at that point, forgot to get our friends dad 2 get it, and unexpectadly, by sheer luck, I ended up at a camp were I got all the beer I cud drink - free - and lost my virginity to a cute goth, as well as seeing sum of my fav bands - so everytime I run into sum unexpected luck I thank Dimebag 4 it The Dead Rule!!!!

Thanks for posting this -- a great version of one of my favorite Dead songs. I really liked the jam that started a little before four minutes in and went on until after the six minute mark. Really, the whole thing was stellar. I remember a time when I was hiking alone in a sagebrush-filled desert valley in eastern Oregon. Some Western Meadowlarks were calling to each other from various spots around the valley, and I realized that the motif of this song was based on the W. Meadowark's call.

no its not. Shakedown Street was the nickname the band and crew gave to their studio. They called it shakedown street because the studio was located in a kind of seedy neighborhood. The studio was directly across from run down motel where numerous drug arrests were made.
