Some other inaccuracies, and I may be wrong about these: the Persian army didn't REALLY include giant, man-beast monstrosities, did it? Also, I'm pretty sure Xerxes wasn't a giant in real life, but it's possible that he had some kind of bone disorder of which I'm unaware. Now that I think about it, they didn't even have CAMERAS back then! How am I supposed to believe the footage is accurate? I mean, come on! Thank God for concerned movie-goers like astrakux.

Saw the movie first...didn't like it for the historical inaccuracies. one of the advantages the Spartans had over the Persians was their ARMOR, which was missing from the movie aside from headgear. Another advantage was tactics, formation fighting, which they also all but abandoned in the movie. if that was how the Spartans were (or were not) armored and how they really fought, the Persians would have rolled over them in the first engagement. from the comic I guess it was Miller's poor research

Kinda obvious,but I've since caught the movie on the net and it does an excellent job of paying tribute to the comic.I thought it felt a little too much like Gladiator at times and the traitorous monster should have been about twice as tall,but great film.I'm looking forward to Watchmen from the same director..Then of course there's the comic tribute,"Meet the Spartans".I loved it,Laugh out loud funny.Some sick humor never did me any harm.

It works better if you attach the tube to the mike with a velcro tie and use a windscreen it eliminates the need to hold the tube with your mouth. The horizontal position eliminates liquids from entering the tube. Try it, I think you will like this method better.
