gotham knight takes place after batman begins and before the dark knight - not exactly a good reason since at the end of batman begins, we all know that little implication - but at the same time, the animators probably didnt know exactly how ledger was gonna do joker, and it'd be odd for a movie meant to be a continuity of others to go and do something different like that

I won't lie; these all look WAY more like anime than traditional animated series based on comic books. And I love every bit of it! Seriously, the art style reminds me of... which anime was it... ah, that's it, Ghost in the Shell. It's more like that art than any American style I've ever seen.

The exaggerated features and over the top animation is a big part of what makes japanese anime attractive to audiences. It's not the "best" form of animation, if one can even quantity such a thing, but it has some obvious strengths and its nice to see a new spin on batman. I loved the 1992 Batman:TAS and I also happen to like Batman Beyond. I can enjoy different ways of telling the Batman story. :)

my peronal favorite story is the one where he uses the bullet deflector thing, he was young and since im a teenager i like that, he is a younger person unlike other adaptions of batman they protray him as late 20s early 30s and i cant really relate to that. this was a very good idea for the animation for batman this wasnt like the 90s cartoon verson this was a dark person in this movie.so wut im trying to say this movie was good but at the same time the different storys really didnt work togther

Batman Gotham Knight is made by Americans. If anything, the Japanese version will be the dubbed version, and possibly the worse version of voice-overs. So, I suggest you watch this in English, the original version. I have to say, though, the Americans have made a great impression in trying to adopt Japanese animation style. This does look like a Japanese anime. Unfortunately, it is not.

I'm focusing on how they got it into anime style but left in all the shortcomings of the anime style (such as the ventriloquist dummy mouth movements) and the stereotypical bishounen facial structure. And I know I'm not alone on this because I've heard people gripe about how certain episodes in the DVD show batman just totally "off". Like Christian Bale's Batman-I need a cough drop-voice.

Yo pienso que ambas versiones tanto de Björk y Meredith Monk son muy buenas, ambas por supuesto, tienen el sello particulas que las caracterisa, no por eso una es mejor que otra. Muchos covers son muy buenos, algunos tanto como los originales, pero este no es el caso. Bien por ambas Versiones ! =9

Why Björks version should be better? For sure Monk is much better, she is more an artist with a clear vision than Björk. There are big differences between the ideas, the quality and the messages of both girls.
