In Italy we got it in first half of september, but I don't think all the Countries will see this actually, cos the single is not meant to have physical release from what I read: it's just a way to reach the end of the year before the guys take their time off and then start to get back in the studio (supposedly in the second half of 2009? This way the new record will see dawn around first half of 2010). When I have doubts on this thing I surf their site and My Space, and then head to Wikipedia ;)

Find a copy of: "Billy Joel: In His Own Words" It's a session where he stands in front of a crowd answering questions etc. He goes into great detail about this song. He wrote it in response to that question, however it did take on a wider meaning during the divorce of "Daddy are you going to leave me?" and of him reassuring her that he was always around. At least in spirit. He does a performance on the DVD and has to stop halfway as it's too emotional for him. I'd highly recommend it.

Gerald Bounce Gregory. I believe that he was the older one if the group - he was married - in fact, his wife said that they sounded like a bunch of dogs singing, hence the name Spaniels. I never got into the issue of second hand smoke, or smoking. I was only referring to advertising (see the Flintstones cartoon, Dick Van Dyke and others where they pushed the brand name.)
