yes what they're singing is very true beleive it or not.For example of some of the lyrics when thet are singing "They lied when they said the good die young" this means that when you die your life hasn't ended. meaning you will go to heaven to live out your days in paradise with no pain or suffering. And when they sing "don't fall asleep" they mean don't turn away and die to meet your fate in hell if you do. And i'm not trying to change anyone's religion.

Can anyone guess what the very first club Sasha played at here in the US? Kind of BT related I guess. All this talk about the way it used to be made me think of this. Give thanks to the anti-Rave laws. Plus electronic peaked when we started hearing it on commercials and such. Anthem trance got really cheesy and thank god, it's now back underground. I remember at Aumnia the first thing I did was to go to the "bar" and ask for a beer. I then learned they didn't sell any -only water!!. Today, I think most raves have a full bar available; not sure. I also learned from the Asian guy that some people would be on acid that night, although I never saw anyone selling or taking any. I have been away from the rave scene, but the first of the few I went to was Aumnia 1998, Downtown Los Angeles; here, the guys from Goa Vibe Crew put together this event bringing in for the first time DJ Tsuyoshi Suzuki and having local djs like Ellis Dee. It was a great thing. I was at Cal State LA back then when an Asian guy was passing out the fliers for the event. I still have it and I imprinted it on a t-shirt then.

Post Rock is fantastic...the dancing detracts from the quality of the music, and is not befitting of the music. A good dancer you may be, but you've failed in the combination of the two. I'm sorry to be so crass, but when you take something like "Storm" you have to expect a backlash if it's not to everyone's taste because it is such an iconic piece of work in the post rock scene.

Together with the simple but genious concept of the Lamp as symbol for life, wisdom, "being" and the dancer as Human evolving through the times of his life, birth to death.
