Contemplating that maybe talking to the new breed of this 22nd century might help us find common grounds among the different religions of our world.

Christians are the most fundamentalist, fanatics creatures on the face of the planet! Also every year they host a national conference called "Coming Together" in which they invite students from other schools. They're very busy sometimes, but if you contact them, at the very least they'll keep you posted on events that American U. students can participate in and you can do the same for them.

Great concept. And it's good to see college students learning about one another. I'm sure that it's difficult to fully explain any religion in a sound-byte, but it seems impossible to get even the basic concepts of Unitarianism or Hinduism across in 15 sec clips because their beliefs are so different than what most people are familiar with in religion. You guys should maybe do something with the Interfaith Center at Johns Hopkins U.; it's only an hour north of you.

You asked why people can't co-exist like they used to back in the day. I feel that, earlier, religion wasnt as clearly defined as it is now. Islam and Christianity were both in a formative stage. Hence, people might have been more relaxed in their views regarding religion. Whereas today, not just religion, but Tradition too has played a role in influencing peoples minds.
