However, its a little closer to billy howerdel's APC. they do sound very alike but apc is still 100% and Tool is the best band ever...........earshot gets one thumb up for at least trying

I think so. James and Lars were the creative core of the band. Jason only contributed 3 songwriting credits to Metallica. Not knocking Jason because he is an incredible showman. I was lucky to see him 3 times with Metallica, and he always delivered. I wish Jason would emerge again.

Saw them live in Baltimore at the now First Mariner, then it was called the Civic center. that's when they recorded the Live Album ,Graditude. if you listen you'll hear Maurice say! Baltimore! here we Are!!! I can say i was there to witness this. they had about 3 or 4 tractor trailers parked outside packed with Recording equipment> WOW! those were the Days!! and let me tell you! they just don't put on a show, they PERFORM!!

I met Maurice and Verdine in Japan in around 2003 so Maurice was touring at that time. I did not see the stage show so I don't know if he performed but I recall that somebody said that he did not sing much so I think he did. I met them at the after party...there weren't many foreigners there so I just walked past the Japanese guys guarding the VIP like I belonged there (the mini-'fro helped) and shook Maurice and Verdine's hands and thanked them for the music!

I think what attracted me to this song is because its sounds a bit like both Tool and Apc. Redundicy aside... Im tired of hearing some of those whiny ass bands that just step on the power chord and then cry , then step on the powr chord. Nothing will ever be able to touch Tool, or APC. Nothing.
