This did kinde get me... I remember listening to this at the lake when I was younger. And I also remember sittin' on my dads lap, drivin' the old boat. I forgot what kind it is... its like... well... 13 years old. When I was about 4, I also remember drivin' a old ford somthin' like that. At that time it is 20 sumthin years old. We sold it a couple years ago and the motor is still runin. I'm proud of that ol' green boat we took to the lake.

No offence taken, but I'm still confused by your comment. Even if you don't hear a harmony vocal, why would you jump to the conclusion that the guy doing lead vocals in the video isn't the singer? Like most fans, I think Jay is the superior talent too, but I still get annoyed by the needless pot shots at Michael. Check out PaulaSee's post. She knows what she's talking about.

You can tell the difference in timbre between Michael and Jay's voices if you listen. Michael's seems to my ears to have a rougher edge and Jay tends to be more trebly. I like them both. This is Michael singing lead, no doubt. That's Jay on the prechorus, just like it looks. I saw them live enough times to know.

I like these guys. Two guitars with Fender Strat, and Les Paul. Bass has a Precision. They look a little weird, but who didn't back then. Get the impression the guy with the strat is doing the vocal track and this video has sombody lip synching. Don't know why....the red haired guy just looks like he's the only one serious about this thing.

Buddy is the clear superior to Gene, but they're both great. Gene invented the wheel, but Buddy perfected it. I think they both knew who was the better of the two, but Buddy was always deferential to Gene and acknowledged his influence. Supposedly Buddy had so much respect for Gene that he would hold back during these drum battles. Even Neil Peart acknowledges both their greatness. As a matter of fact, anyone who knows a lick about drumming would HAVE TO.
