Disagreed. A man's voice changes as he ages. Ben's voice still sounds "young". If you listen to Elton sing this song when he was young, you'll hear that youthful clarity in his voice too. Check out Elton singing Tiny Dancer live 1971 under "Related Videos" over there to the right------------------>

Opening the lid of the piano only creates a larger sound. It doesn't in any way make you a better player. It just effects the volume. But okay. You can keep thinking opening the lid of a piano makes you a better player.

Wow, great performance.. somehow Ben Fold made Tiny Dancer sounded like one of his own. As for the comparison, rather pointless really though while Elton John is a great musician/showman and writer of music, his songs could never have come to life without the lyrics by Bernie Taupin.. Ben wrote all his lyrics.
