Its a baritone guitar. For just a small fortune you can get one of these handcrafted pieces of art. The tuning is 4 full steps lower then a normal guitar. If you have a decent guitar that can hold a .13 you might be able to tune it down and make it sound like one. Greets Ger.

I agree with you. The damn paparazzi's and newspaper's can destroy an artist. Andy needs to be alone and take his time to make new wonderful songs, if the newspapers say something very bad about Andy that ain't true that will affect on Andy's work. It't sad that if you are famous you can't relax when all "assholes" are after you assholes=paparazzi's) but I think Andy is happy. His dream was to play guitar and now he can do that so to become famous is not Andy's biggest goal in his life I think.

i've actually talked to him at great length after i saw him play @ a high school about an hour from where i live in wisconsin. nicholas barron opened up for him, and after the show while i was waiting in line to meet them and get their autographs, i started playing a couple songs on some local student's guitar(he brought it along to have it signed), and nicholas barron looked over at me and complimented me on my playing. one word: dumbfounded. also, Honored. yeah...

To GOD666: I'm struggling to understand your point.....Yes candyrat has an amazing boost from its sales aided by Youtube, but if everybody decided to download candyrats music tabs and music illegally(That being my point!) then obv. candyrats sales would be practically non existent, taking us straight back to my original point. I think its pertinent to remember Andy mosr probably is Candyrats biggest source of income. Please read Andys wiki page, and im only saying this out of respect for Andy :D

Ok, seems ive hit a nerve here yea? To Swangma:I do not have 4 videos on my user channel if you're referring to me. The two videos i do have on my page are ones i have recorded at his concerts, which Andy is in favour of people doing as they are not profiting it(Check his website for it). If everyone downloaded his tabs and music for nothing, do you think his career would be severly stunted?

"Yeah 'Liggyplayer', go for it man ! The tuning is ('starting with the 6th string down')- F-A-C-F-C-F. I practised first on an old 'unamplified acoustic' guitar. You have to practise banging it hard and working to get clear sounding chords. I spent about a week doing that first and then when I switched to my Fender resonator plugged into a Vox I was amazed at the clarity of tone and also I didn't have to Bang and Tap so hard. But I found practicising without an Amp in the beginning is better."
