Thank you for showing the Men-U shaving brush. I'm waiting to get it in the mail. I've wanted to buy a shaving brush, but I've read that badger hair brushes come from China where they skin the badgers alive. I'm not a vegetarian but that's just wrong.

nbelt1919- Rinse it well with warm water, give it a couple shakes, then gently wipe on a dry towel. You may need to gently "fluff" it with your fingers. Then store it some place that gets air flow (not inside a closed cabinet!).

I haven't heard that hot water makes the razor blunt quicker, though I have read where some people believe rinsing in cold water keeps the blade more stable in the razor. I rinse in hot water and never had a problem with it. *shrug**

No I wash mine all the time as well. Just make sure you use gentle shampoo with conditioner, if you dont have a brush cleanser. The hair fibers will get brittle and start breaking if theyre not conditioned.

for painting brushes if you hold the very very tip of it you gett a differen't brush stroke then if you hold it as you would a pen. But the reason cosmetic brushes are still quite long is because need to fit the whole hand even if you hold it farther up the staff (not exactly sure what to call it)

Thank you for this video, I heard a lot about using paint brushes. I'm an artist too and I love Loew Cornell and they are really great! They don't shed at all and if you take care of them they last for a long time...good to know I have two uses for my paint brushes now! Don't know if you've heard of these, the Eco Tools brushes that you can get at Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc. They are synthetic and soft as all get out. I haven't tried the Coastal Scents but I am amazed at how soft these are and the reviews I've seen are incredible. I know you really like to use creams with synthetic brushes. My question is, when using synthetic brushes with powder, do you find that they pick up less product?

I love your videos! I tried your homemade cleanser, and It worked like a charm on my brushes! I couldn't believe so much old makeup came out of my brushes! Try to deep wash your brushes like this every 1-2 weeks. I also like to wipe down my brushes after I use them with a baby wipe to decrease build up and this keeps them a bit cleaner between uses. Happy cleaning!

I hate cleaning brushes too and right now even though Im using the MAC brush cleanser, I am still having a hell of a time :( I dont know if its the paper towels Im using or what but the make up wont come off. I am swaying the brush back and forth and then I do it to a dry spot and it wont come off

I clean my brushes using baby shampoo, but sometimes I clean them with baby wipes making the same movements that u do and It work pretty well. After cleaning my brushes w baby wipes I use a dry cloth to dry them and they dry faster than cleaning them w soap and water. I will try a cleanser to see how it works... grat video

thanks Tiffany. It's exactly how I clean my brush, only tt I use the thick kitchen towel instead of tissue & I de-cant my MAC brush cleaner into a spray bottle to sray it on the tissue. I clean them at night too so tt they have the whole night to 'dry'. i deep clean them at the sink w baby shampoo and s drop dettol antiseptic liquid every fortnightly.

Tiffany - I ended up getting the MAC 182 and O.M.G...what a difference!! I had 2nd thoughts after realizing I just spent $45 on a brush, but when I tried it, it felt like heaven!! PLUS this brush buffered in my BM mineral foundation like no other!! You weren't kidding - it's a WORLD of difference compared to my BM kabuki brush, and I think now it was the perfect investment!
