Ryder77: It's about the movie: Jadesoturi, which is about about finnish epic Kalevala mixed with chinese mythology (Actually, at the first place that was part of the original Kalevala, but the writer desided to leave it out so it would come up at absolute finnish.). Well, it' song about when someone loses love to you turing the time when you still do love that someone: it's about acepting destiny, which the movie's protagonist did deny, by keeping hope alive- it's about learning to say farewel.

you cant classify btbam as one genre they play literally every genre of music you could possibly think of, while mikael is in my opinion (as well as most people with a brain) a better grunter and singer btbam is still an incredible band with many parts that are more difficult than opeth even though i like opeth more

between the buried and me is nothing like opeth, although BTBAM is a progressive metal of sorts. its more like progressive trash metal with intense moments of epic harmony. I don't understand why they didn't put Wolfmoon's intro narration of Otto Mellies also in "The Deathship as a new Captain" cd. The same thing with the cd track "Horror of Antarctica", no voice intro. But the cd booklet as the intro written in the "Horror of Antarctica" lyrics. I remember listening to samples of "Horror of Antarctica" and "Wolfmoon" back in 2003 when they launched their website, and those mp3 samples had Mellies's intros!

Such a moving carol. The tune is superb and it's a pity we don't hear it more often but I suppose it is more often sung in England and cold coutries at Christmas. We sang it as a solo in our Church here in South Africa in Parow at Christmas and I loved it so much I even joined in having memorised the words. A beautiful tune and so appropriate at Christmas
