There is a system when riding in groups. System doesn't work when you're riding like squids. Like shown in this video. The only thing they can really do to make sure they don't die is that they keep checking their mirrors. I don't use mine, I normally always look behind me by turning. PS. The farmers don't get free bikes. They are lent to the farmers, who pay off the bike with coffee beans. After achieving bike ownership, I assume the farmer can take his beans to any buyer he likes (prob the one who gives the best price, and likely has less middle men to achieve it).

i dont think they should get free bikes. i think that the farmers should control the growing,harvesting,weighing,packaging then setting their price according to how much coffee they have to sell and how many buyers want their beans. the way its set up right now someone else is standing between the market and the farmer and the farmer in rwanda doesnt know where his coffee is going to end up nor how much its going to sell for when it gets there.

I'm going to get one someday, maybe by the end of this year or early next year. Oh, I didn't say which one, I want the Strida. It is quite expensive thats why I'm holding off. It is 800usd. The most appealing to me about the Strida than any other folding bikes is the "strolling" part when it is folded. You can drag it by wheels when not in used. Other folding bikes including the Abike, you'd have to carry it. I'm doing a lot of research on the Strida. Any tips-please hit me up. tnx

The advantage of the Strida is it rolls when folded - so you never have to carry it, also the efficient belt drive means no oil or grease. Dahon make great bikes and one day they will add these features too.

the only way would use the abike is in the back of my car for an emergency. the strida looks much more comfortable and efficient, and to me even seems more portable, because face it, no one is going to run a race with their bike, and rolling it is easy. that said, i have a dahon that i would never give up, it is the best folding bike around because it is the most normal.

I think you are thinking of four strokes. 2 strokes "seem" louder, but they are not. It's the higher pitch that some don't like, but 4 strokes are MUCH louder. The sound wave is such that it also carries much further. Trust me, head to a track and let a few 2 strokes pass by WOT, then have ONE four stroke do it. I guarantee you that you won't be able to carry on a conversation with the 4 stroke going by.

Nah it's not orignal. It seems the current trend for american sports bike owners is to increase the rear 'rake' by adding in longer rear swaybars & chain etc. Apparantly they think it looks good, i however, fail to agree. Personal taste tho :)
