Its true that you mention India is a great country. But then its wrong to say that Mauritius is part of India...this is confusing. We do have our own culture, tradition and ways of doing things although some Indo Mauritians have Indian ancestral roots. I am born and bred mauritian but I am more proud to be Mauritian than of Indian ancestry which is far away now.
