In my opinion there is an error in the film. They clearly show what appears to be sign tracking (aka autoshaping) when the pigeon is pecking the keylight and receiving food. Typically in this design, the food delivery is not dependent on the pecking behavior of the bird. Despite this lack of contingency, the pigeon still pecks at the keylight. Sign tracking has since been shown to be a Pavlovian, not an instrumental contingency. This inaccuracy may be the result of the film's age.

I agree that GSD was sort of boring Bcos of the Dragoon system in almost all of the gundams.(eg,Strike Freedom,Inf Justice,Legend,Akatsuki)Too complicated and the skill were so boring and nobody actually important died unlike SEED where Mu died and kira almost died and athrun wanted to self destruct the Justice to destroy Genesis.

It would be great if they made a full Gundam Astray animation. They're at liberty to make filler episodes since the the manga has so many gaps. Or what would be hot is it they made a Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny Chronicles show more of the Mobile Suit Variations in action, but ending with a great Astray Red and Gold climatic battle.

The same way Gundam Seed Destiny is a continuation from Gundam Seed. Astray has a portion of the series running parallel to Destiny. So it depends now which episode your talking about. As far as I know, this is a promo made primarily to sell MSV products. I not 100% sure but as far as I know, the SEED part of Astray ends with the defeat of the Completed Gold Frame when Rhondo dies. When Gold Frame return as Re-Amatu Mina Custom, it in the SEED Destiny time frame.

A sundial and a clock both give the same information, just in different ways. Its the basic fundamental understanding that is being looked at here. Pigeons and Humans are both animals, I think the motive of this experiment was more to understand basic behaviors, not to closely relate the two species.

Great points. Skinner was/is criticized, villified bacause of his conclusions. His psychology predicts this and gives a complete understanding of human behavior. His techniques improved education 200%, while cognitive psychologists applied techniques that caused drops in learning skills and self confidence. ABA is the only effective way of making the world a better place. Hopefully one day the results will overcome our cultures ability to condition ignorance and misunderstanding.

Every effective treatment is the result of behavioristic principles. Every dangerous, useless exercise in futility is the result of Nim Chimpsky's worldview. Skinner didn't deny anything that was empirically observable, he was atheoritcal - and routinely criticized other behaviorists for using theoretical constructs. Chomsky didn't even understand Skinner's principles at all - he wrote that Skinner was an S-R theorist - when in fact S-R was advocated by Thorndike NOT Skinner. There were already many prominent "cognitive" behaviorists such as Tolman and Capaldi. Skinner's greatest contributions were in method, not theory.

interesting, I have never heard or even thoughtof behaviorists as "holding back" psychology or "denying" it. I always thought of it as another perspective to study psychology from. I think behaviorists didn't follow through with their studies long enough to make their discoveries relevant and accurate enough. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the entire behaviorist field of psychology is holding back other scientist's progress. Blocking science? Then who made it progress?

I would have to disagree with you there. The purpose of science is to resolve questions accurately therefore answering questions which are useful to society. What Skinner and other behaviourists did was deny internal processing thus holding back advancements in psychology for about 20years especially in the U.S. It wasn't until Chomskys' critic that the mental block of behaviourism was overcome!

Hitler choise the BF-109 , i don't know why the He-112 receive world reccord speed before the War, 700km/h aproximatly and record altitude ( 5,500 m ). But during the end of war many Bomber like the Lancaster was modified for ultra high altitude this is for why hitler changed his mind and build the Ta 152H ( 8,000 meters ) The Ta-152H was a exactly same model but maybe more large he look like He-112 or He-113.

I'm not a pilot , but i know my history and i play Il-2 Sturmovik with BF-109F-4 model and the tailwheel on this version was so cheap in fact before the K version the BF-109 had so much problem with landing. Its not a bad pilot, the BF-109 had problem with landing this is for why BF-109 use non-grass airport during the War. During the war they had 3 choise for the Luftwaffe primary fighter : Heinkel He 100, Heinkel He 112 ,BF-109.

This pilot had a fast aproche, BF-109 need slow aproche,in 200 last meter before landing you need aproximatly 120km/h, open flap to landing position , open gear and reduice to 10% of the speed maybe less.. for the best landing, in fact the BF-109 was one of the most fasted aircraft in the WW2 ( in non-jet fighter ) and it was really hard to land aproximatly 1% BF-109 crash in landing incident was caused by the same thing like the video, to fast and hard to landing with lot of stress..

Tja ich war bei der Marine, da haben wir auch gewissermaßen in der Grundausbildung ne Brandschutzausbildung machen müssen, nicht wirklich umfangreich, aber auf nem Schiff kommt keine Feuerwehr wenn`s brennt, und wenn dann sind die meistens zu spät da^^. Und wie ich diese ewigen Brandschutzübungen gehass habe, mitten in der Nacht und auch noch zu deiner Ruhephase "Achtung, zur Übung feuer an Bord1", aber irgendwie wars auch spannend^^.
