I've never understood what people see in Eddie Vedder, but I gotta give him credit for covering a great song from a great band that you just never hear anymore. The musicianship here isn't A+, but it's still pretty rockin' and I enjoyed the clip!

was in yallingup last year and there was a girl playing at cave (cant remember her name) playing with vivika and linda in busselton the next day. i asked her if she was stoked and she was, but no one else seemed to give a fuck! what the hell?!? vicka and linda are so good and the black sorrows are one of the best folk groups aus/nz has ever seen.

I saw The Black Keys at Brixton Academy last wednesday and he was opening for them along with another band. The other band was crap, but Liam was amazing. As has been mentioned, he absolutely slaughtered the drumkit, it was mindblowing when he played it. He's a rilliant musician, showman and performer. he was really amazingly good and I too was worried that the Black keys wouldn't be able to follow such a good performance. I would've bought tickets if it was a shared gig between him and TBK

Being a life-long fan of his father's (as in 28 years....) I tried to be incredibly objective seeing Liam live in Montreal (opening up for Eddie Vedder) and yet I was still absolutely gobsmacked by his talent. My criticism mostly comes out of my own modesty and humor when someone starts tossing compliments that I think are slightly over the top. Truth be told, I'd rather see a smaller, focused show like theirs than be lost in a sea of a few thousand people....

i hear you. i spoke to liam yesterday at the show.. very acessible dude-- he does not flout his roots and does not need to. he has the chops. couldn;t help but notice the occasional major 7th slipping into the chord proressions- a crowded house/ split enz trademark. possibly genetic.. all good

ok .. i wont lie .. .i only bother becasue i love his dad... but the solo stuff.. i really love.. i wont ask about his dad or compare him.. that must be torture.. but this is flat out good good good music... to have this talent... just shows music can be inherited.. but absorbed and evolved...

great great performance. I'm just wondering how he was able to loop all those layers of guitar? I understand there are things to do that, but I barely see him push anything with his foot. Why didn't the cameraman focus at least once when he does the loop, or is that someone playing with him or some type of track pre recorded?
