I think an important thing to take away from this video is that it was not a tourist description of Belgrade. It is a description of features of globalization, using Belgrade as a case study. Thus, the video is not targeted at Serbs, but to Western Europeans and Americans, and is not about the Balkans or the city itself. He is showing how globalization imposes itself on a city. Also, how a city is not just passively surrendering to some outside force, but adapting and evolving along with it.

Odlican video imenjace, sad znam da li vredi putovanja iz norveske ili ne. Ali mi treba prvo minimalno 200 000 dinara za putovanje, hotel i dobar boravak tamo mesec dana. Ali je dobro, 2500 eura se ovde u norveskoj nakupi za mesec dana, za studenta kao ja, posto oni imaju ograniceno sta mogu da rade. Tako da nadam se da nece biti problem. 7 godina nisam tamo bio, a u Beogradu sam bijo samo nekoliko puta i to kad sam ziveo kao siromasna izbeglica u kasarni u Petrovcu. Vreme je za uzivanje!
