By: movingoutin30. on 22 Nov 08, 07:44:50
the most beautiful song ever, period.
By: Aquinalei. on 22 Nov 08, 07:36:24
I agree Krista. So sad that a man that wrote such great music was deaf in the end & didn't even know the response to "Ode To Joy" untill he felt the floor vibrating. Moonlight Sonata will always be my all time fave song as it was the first classical piece I ever heard, as a young girl besides it being beautiful. Ode to Joy is a song like what the olympics try to bring to the world, peace, love, joy & understanding, all men living in harmony.

Type in " Carl Orff Carmina Burana " in YouTube to find the video or see it on my favorites ... it's good
By: eviloverlordcaboose. on 22 Nov 08, 05:11:31
love this song...sadly first heard it on a hamtaro game like 4 years ago...makes me think of Dexter Morgan.
By: SoulCra2y. on 22 Nov 08, 05:01:09
You say you listen to rap but you fail to even spell Eminem correctly? Get out of here troll. Open your hears to all genres of music. Rappers nowadays are even using classical pieces in their music. Its no longer 'cool' to blindly hate. Come out of your cave and experience the world.
By: kookiesnkreme223. on 22 Nov 08, 04:56:02
wow lol ur right. . I can see that....
By: iHaTeNaRuSaKu101. on 22 Nov 08, 03:43:37
some of you people are making fun of beethovens beautiful work on the piano. I bet the people that are making fun can't even play it on the piano themeselfs. If it's so bad why don't they try to do it. They'll be horrible. Stop making fun of his hard work. You couldn't do twice as good as him or else you would've been famous but you're not.
By: Vezonmasta. on 22 Nov 08, 03:29:44
I may not be the most respectful for classical music. I may only be a young boy, BUT... this music, these composers, wonderful in every way, and no one could ever hope to compare, to Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, all of them. And most of them came from Germany, and although I barely know anything of the country, I find it both ironic and wonderful at the same time. Ah, sweet music.
By: aliusxxi. on 22 Nov 08, 03:03:59
I prefer the original score of Beethoven will be respected. This interpretation adds an orchestral accompaniment that makes it too melodramatic. Listen very faithful version that does Wilhelm Kempff : watch?v=O6txOvK-MAK
By: KristaNalon. on 22 Nov 08, 02:45:12
And this simple song is so controversial? I'm quite surprised. The song is wonderful in my opinion.
By: aliusxxi. on 22 Nov 08, 02:36:58
There is an unnecessary (but discreet) orchestral accompaniment. For what? Music of films of Hollywood. Anyway, who are the interpreters?
By: MahLogin. on 22 Nov 08, 01:55:11
1) Learn to spell correctly. 2) 50 Cent and M&M will never be like Beethoven and Mozart, since their songs can't exactly be played by the average person as their "music" relies on chanting. 3) Rap will never be classical, just like metal will never be pop. How did you even come up with this? 4) If you don't like it, then don't listen to it.
By: claireglory. on 22 Nov 08, 01:50:14
simple but brilliant music.
By: Gnilretsam. on 22 Nov 08, 01:37:33
No No No No This is music you kill people to.
By: HollowCrow. on 22 Nov 08, 01:26:43
