Good video, but if there was a stun gun or pepper spray nearby, she would have escape quicker. In today's world we must be ready to protect ourselves at all times. The whole thing could have been avoided if there had been a $10.00 door alarm on bedroom door. This would have prepared her to react much quicker. Self defense products such as a stun gun or pepper sprays may not save our lives, but they can give you that "small window of opportunity to escape".

I agree, like I said in my comment above, this isn't anything special. Not that I am a rapist (I am a martial artist) but there are EASY ways to get around flailing legs. (I know this from grappling. The best defence, in my humble opinion, tuck your legs and roll to the side. Either that or deliver one enormous kick with both feet, to their face. It should be a violent snapping motion with your entire body, and should be more than enough.

Thanks for watching! We are very comfortable living here. Headboards help to anchor and support you when you rest. It is good to have a strong headboard, but not too hard (like a metal headboard). Also avoid floating the bed in the middle of the room without the support of a wall or placing the bed with the headboard against a window (again, not good grounding and anchoring while you sleep).

I also just heard that pictures of mountains are great to put behind a desk in a home office; it anchors a business or study efforts; so if you have a home office, you might want to consider the mountain picture there, too!

Josette, you're welcome! The mountain picture sounds wonderful. With your front door, if it's facing East, appropriate colors are Green, Yellow, Earth-tones, White, and Metallic. Children and Creativity are big areas for the East, so you might want to hang original artwork and/or photos of children near your front door to maximize the good energy there. (Just a thought....) Proper placement of any elements in a room depends on many things, most importantly orientation of the room and main entrances. Best advice: without an expert visiting your space, experiment. Place objects in a way that feels good to you and live with it for a week. Take notes about your experiences. Make new arrangements for another week. Compare and choose the better.

Try to keep the underside of your bed open for air to circulate; but if not possible, then keep the clothing nicely folded and make sure it's not "junk storage." Clean up all clutter! Instead of a mountain, hang nothing up over your bed or a picture that is meaningful to you (anchor it well!). Front door color? It depends on the direction your door faces and where it's situated. Look up a bagua chart online to check proper colors. Good luck!

I actually said Vinyl is dying, not that it is dead, I didn't say that it was not pressed anymore, the volume has decreased and so has the interest in it. Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash started DJing when vinyl was the only format available, and they have become so accustom to that format so they won't leave it. BUT for new DJs, the answer is to use what will be most benficial to themselves not other DJs, CDs are the way foward whether u like it or not, a good DJ can use ALL formats available.

Well then, maybe you should check Jon's videos on how vinyl is superior to CDs.. he has ones where his friends give opinions as well. Plus, you keep referring to vinyl being out of date. Imagine approaching old school DJ's like Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash and telling them their format sucks.. They'd wipe the floor with you mate. Yet another useless and out of date response. I used to use Vinyl records b4 2005, playin in commercial venues, I needed access to music faster & a wide range of genres, vinyls are no good in these circumstances. Dont even attempt to lecture me on being a DJ, Ive been there and got t-shirt, judging from your responses u dont have any idea of what it is really like. But by advise stands to anyone interested in being a DJ, use CDs and think of your equipment as an investment for the future.

Hey, calm down sweetheart :D Vinyls have not become phased out. ..and anyway every self respecting DJ still uses them. Most people who use CDJs have ripped their usic from limewire. I can't believe some nob who only mixes cds is preaching about how vinyl sucks.. there's no magic button on technics 1200's that does it all for you.. is that why my argument is flawed? Nah man, I didnt even start this debate, you did. Secondly, vinyl is becoming extinct in record collections of non-DJs. But within the right audience, and the right genres, vinyl is still being pressed and repressed etc. Plus, I read that turntables have even been known to outsell electric guitars. I'm not going to buy CD players because I'd be joining a movement I don't want to support. I think that as long as I live, vinyl is still going to be around, so I'm going to carry on using it. Why are people even talking about such equipment on this videos comments, the actually point of the video, is discussing the first steps to being a bedroom DJ, so to be honest talking about 1210's and CDJ1000s is a bit stupid. CDs are not inferior to vinyl records at all! If that was the case why are labels pressing fewer and fewer records? Vinyl records are dying, and no matter what you say they will eventually be phased out. I think you should join the 21st century.

I bought myself a gemini cdm-500 and I hate it. 'nyway what I wanna say is : you buy cheap stuff you should be expecting cheap results out of it :) I recommend you buy a decent pair of technics turntables (check out ebay) ; a decent mixer .. and go for serato if you can't buy vinyl where you are currently living :) ... or if you can't afford serato check out on youtube cheaper alternatives for serato (hint: maya 44) .. do your research before buying anything, especially DJ GEAR !! good luck :)
