I have been to BC before and It's unbelievably amazing. Whistler, Vancouver, Victoria ... all Kelowna ... I love all these places and they are really really super natural. About the ranking, I think Vancouver, BC comes in the 3rd place after Switzerland and Austria but not sure about that. I've been to Swiss and Austria and these two are gorgeous places too

It's an amazing place to live and its hilarious how few people even in Vancouver get out to see it all. The wilderness is something you won't find anywhere else. The people are amazing if there was recently a hockey game. But I find for the most part otherwise people in the city are kind of shy. The thing that makes the city is the fact I can take a 30 minute bus from the heart of the downtown to the ski hill (three seperate ski hills to be exact).

Wait, you think BC is not as big as Colorado? BC is several times bigger. I think you don't realize how much of BC there is past Vancouver, squamish and whistler. In fact, they make up a very small part of the province, and many of the mountains there are not accessible because of high density and saftey. In the rest of BC, you can go wherever you want! And ya, whistler is really expensive...

i just went to bc Vancouver, squamish and whistler. IT seems alot of the mountains are not actually accessible for hiking and are just rocky mountain formations that you cannot access in bc and are mainly scenic mountains. The scenery was lovely. AM i right in thinking it is not that large. Seems different to Colorado. Food portions seemed rather small an inadequate but healthier i guess. main problem i found was speed limits made fuel inneficient driving and rather long journey times.

In Greater Vancouver housing is in crisis mode ... most houses are over 700K and rentals are scarce. We are moving into olympic 2010 mode so this will be a congestd busy place for the next 16 months. Plus the weather is rain and cloud 80% of days. Go for Calgary Bro. Its modern, safe, jobs, better weather and 1 hr to the Rockies. And it has NHL and CFL.

Actually women have FOUGHT for the rights to do all of those jobs. Is it my particular calling (any that you mentioned?) no. But for many men it isn't either. I was talking to someone whose good friend was one of the countries best snipers for many years and he said women actually naturally are better shooters than men. *shrugs* I want equal rights. I just remembered ... I had another friend who had a vasectomy after he and his wife had their first child. He was was given instructions on when to bring in a semen sample. He just decided, on his own, that he didn't need to do that. He thought it was pointless. Now he has two children. Since then I've heard about other men who made the same bad assumption. It is VERY important that you go back after the vasectomy to have your sperm count checked to make sure the doctor got everything.

I can do that, I have built many CBM sites on sensitive native prairie, the permantaly disturbed area is about 3m2 on the rest the soils and vegetation is still intact. ALL of you need to take some BEFORE/AFTER pictures of the basin and then take a trip to Nigeria to see what Shell is doing for the people there. I visited Port Harcourt and felt the pollution, saw the pollution and smelled the oil in the air. Shell went back on and continue to defy their promise to protect the environment in Nigeria. Great, I got thumbed down because someone doesn't know what "nepotism" means. Let me dumb it down for you: It means the Chiefs and their families steal and misappropriate the money meant for their tribes welfare. They take several trips per year at Indian and Northern Affairs expense to attend conventions and fact finding tours only to golf their time away and stay in the finest hotels. I know several who do it all the time, its a way of life, maybe even a new "traditional" way of life.

After the logging slowed down to a trickle over there I thought you would welcome the chance for your people to have employment and be able to start buisinesses and prosper. thanks for the lesson but im still a little confused, in the C7 chord it does not contain the 5th step (g note) that an original c chord contains(CEG), but other chords in 7 DO contain the 5th step, so can a 5th step be optional or something? also i found that if you were to open the 2nd string in an original c chord E e (x32000) it would play all steps, 1-3-5-7b(C E G A#) could it be played this way?

Here is the C major scale: C - D - E - F - G - A - B (B is the 7th of the C major scale) Here is a Cmaj7 chord: C - E - G - B To make it a dominant 7th flatten the B: C - E - G - Bb (that's why the note he is hitting is between the 6 and 7) Here are other examples: D7 = D - F# - A - C E7 = E - G# - B - D G7 = G - B - D - F A7 = A - C# - E - G hope that helps. let me know if you have any other questions =D

"Maj7" chords don't work as dominant chords because the do not contain a tritone interval. Therefore the name "dominant major seventh" is misleading, IMHO. In the harmonized scale maj7-chords are represented on the tonic and subdominant, as you probably know.

I sort of disagree with this I've learnt mainly of the London college of music sort of grade books and they would refer to this sort of chord as just a 'A7' (for example) and a Dominant major seventh as a 'Amaj7' And also all chord references around the net refer to it that was aswell So that could create confusion for some people? Good lesson regardless

Now a question: Where to put the thumb in chords? Many recommend to place the thumb in the fretboard-middle, especially in scale picking. Now, I see you put your thumb high above the neck in chords, which helps for muting the 6th, but disables me of using my pinkie in an E7, for example. Is there a 'rule of thumb' placement? Thx!
