Tejas serves as a light air superiority fighter wheras Su-30 MKI is a heavy fighter deep penetration fighter. I am saying this because I am myself a pilot of the Su-30 MKI. India only has one .50 cal weapon,the Browning M2 HB machinegun,used for heavy assault.Tavor TRS21 has entered service with special forces.New AK derivatives being used are AK74(Bulgarian) and AK103/105 with BSF units.INSAS now in full service and takes U.S M193 and SS109 ammo.Don't forget SiG P226 pistol as well and new production AK47/AKM from Bulgaria too.
