I think the powers-that-be are purposely breeding discontemtment. So eventually, when the ordinary people cry out "enough is enough!" the government can easily bring in new draconian laws against "criminals", unopposed. I wouldn't stand in a line to turn in my guns, and I think very few other Americans would. I'd stock up on Ammo, grab my guns, and wait. They wouldn't be able to take my freedom without a fight. The handgun ban didn't work, so these politicians think that more flawed laws and the destruction of freedom will fix the problem, and it's just wrong. I'm glad to live in America, but if we're not careful we can end up like them as well! That's why I'm in the NRA.

You know this nonesense started with Gavin Nuesom in 2004. Gov. Swartzanagger messed up by saying it was up to the courts to decide this issue. He had the authority and should have ordered Nuwsom to stop what he was doing. By not doing that he set the stage to let the people go to the courts to settle this matter.
