Already 5 trillion has been spent of bailouts General Motors plans to invest $1 billion in Brazil to avoid the kind of problems the U.S. automaker is facing in its home market, said the beleaguered car maker. According to the president of GM Brazil-Mercosur, Jaime Ardila, the funding will come from the package of financial aid that the manufacturer will receive from the U.S. government and will be used to "complete the renovation of the line of products up to 2012."

I know what you're saying. I've been saying our representatives are ignorant or complicit in this "takeover" by the money masters. I've told them to read "America's Great Depression" by murray rothbard and "Creature from Jeckyll Island" by g edward griffin. They have the knowledge, now, so I believe they are COMPLICIT in all of this legislation that will destroy our country, bring anarchy so they can take everything over, and create a fascist nwo. you and I are on the same page.

Another plot is to create a global currency. I'm not expecting it to happen very quickly, but that's the direction we're headed. There are some scary quotes from founding fathers about people having the ability to control the money supply.
By: jbo5112. on 21 Nov 08, 05:22:07
You seem to be under the impression that the government is in charge of our country. It was probably orchestrated to drop the value of businesses so that bankers and big businesses can buy them up, government can expand, and a tighter yoke of slavery can be placed on the necks of Americans. BTW, it's too late to say going to inject. It has already been over $4 trillion.

By: batgirl791. on 20 Nov 08, 13:30:12
this whole "crisis" was orchestrasted. There is no way for our country to pay off the national debt, so they are going to inject A LOT of money into the economy, so the value of the dollar drops like a stone. Then they will be able to pay the debts with inflated dollars. It's the only way for them to get a handle on it. they will pass a health plan so we will think that's the reason for our economic collapse.

--But the Supremes have a long history of ruling that the "necessary and proper" and "commerce" clauses of the Constitution render the enumerated powers meaningless. That position is indefensible, IMO. FDR March 9, 1933 National Economic Emergency, War Powers - constitution suspended You know- the Bankruptcy. (formal surrender to the bankers) Silly kids keep playin like theres an America! haha

I thought so, you are one of those inbred right wing closet cases who want to exhume Ronald Reagans corpse to have sex with it. Face it sparky, he was a figure head, a animatronic puppet under the direct and unceasing control of foreign interests. Witness his traitorus fascination and insistence on open unfettered trade with no concern or provisions to account for subsidation on imported goods by foreign manufacturers. Reagan was the greatest traitor in American history and you go gay for him
By: GreatSatan1. on 19 Nov 08, 08:45:42
I thought so. You are one of those leftist deniers of truth. SDI sunk the Soviet Union economically.
By: Plutonwolf. on 19 Nov 08, 07:26:46
Getting even? I am trying to repair the damage, his ass is dead, there is no better revenge. As to his "winning" the cold war, that is a constant theme that is such a twisted bit of propaganda I no longer get angryy when I hear it said. WE WON the cold war. He just happened to be in office when the USSR ran out of steam. Don't forget HST,DDE, JFK, LBJ, RMN, FORD AND CARTER. Also, all the service men and women that manned the line for all those tense years. Reagan? Phah, an actor.
By: TAMARLANE. on 19 Nov 08, 07:16:09
Give you a hint. Trying to get even with Reagan is too late. He did more good than bad in my opinion. But domestically he was tough on the country. Ended the cold war. That was huge. Don't please don't tell me Gorbachov ended the cold war. You will lose all credibility at that moment.

LOL, And what makes you think I am NOT highly politically active??? I may not rise to the level of Presidential notice (do you?) but I do make a bit of difference on the local and county level where I live and that is making some small difference. I post here, not to sway the minds of folks like you, that just isn't going to happen, I do this to put forth a counter-point to the politics of selfish self centeredness that is the toxic legacy of Reagan and his minions. We can and will heal.

As Shakespeare said so long ago, "It is easy to be a critic in the audience, but it is difficult to be a player upon the stage." If you think you can do more than bitch gripe and complain here on youtube, then get in touch with the new Obama administratiion and help them implement some of your observations. You are truly wasting your talents here on Youtube.

We are consumers, true enough. And how have we remained consumers since we stopped being producers of any note? Debt. We are now the greatest debtor nation the planet has ever known. This thrust towards consumerism is unsustainable. We have sold our future for a gilded now. We sell our own infrastructure to other nations and foreign corporations. While diligently guarding against the bogey man of socialism we have ignored the true reality of becoming indentured serfs to foreign powers.

By: TAMARLANE. on 19 Nov 08, 06:21:39
The largest middle class over the centuries, since the inception of the United States of America has been the United States of America. That is why we have become the largest consumers in the world. Because we have the best system to accommodate a middle class. true enough, we are presently in decline. The answer to our problems is not to become a socialist country. Take care of your family, your friends and neighbors, and the rest will take care of itself.

By: Plutonwolf. on 19 Nov 08, 04:36:16
Just curious. Which country has the fastest shrinking middle class? Here's a clue....it's the same country.
By: TAMARLANE. on 19 Nov 08, 04:01:48
Just curious. Which country in the world has more middle class members than America?
By: JiveDadson. on 19 Nov 08, 03:23:38
The legitimate powers of the legislative and executive branches are enumerated in the constitution. The 10th Amendment rules out other powers. Nothing in the Constitution remotely suggests that treasury money may be used to buy up toxic debt or shares in private companies. But the Supremes have a long history of ruling that the "necessary and proper" and "commerce" clauses of the Constitution render the enumerated powers meaningless. That position is indefensible, IMO.
By: JPUPPY006. on 19 Nov 08, 02:50:18
"All efforts by the government to bailout private industry are unconstitutional...the reasons are grounded in the constitution..." This is circular logic. The constitution authorizes congress to appropriate funds, the bail out authorized Sec. Paulson to spend funds. The bail out included provisions regarding the purchasing of toxic assets as well as the recapitalizing of private banks. I am not for the bail out, but arguments like the judge's provide little insight.
