The set-up and moves have much of potential...HOWEVER, this is a very amateur/sub-standard performance; it has very little of all of the following: good technique, passion, real play, step execution, move execution, connection between the dancers, etc. If you are one who is trying to learn well the Bachata dance, find a better video!

yeah, luckily the world doesnt revolve around the DR so if you go dance like that in NY or most countries, you are a great dancer. You must still be living in the campo where you came from because in NYC clubs like LQ in manhattan and quisqueya in queens, this is how most people dance it. The original way is great, but hardly sexy. The dominican way is only danced by old people in the fields of DR.

one thing that i want to say to those of u who find it hard..listen to the congas...cause thats where the steps come from....like when u hear the conga doing tah tah tah and pop....jus listen to the congas..so each step you so when u touch the floor wit ure toe just like the lady did thats "POP" which is the last sound the congas make...its kind of confusin..but actually its the congas that make u move..so keep that in mind...ooh and thats it i hope this also helped!!

hahaha... my very respected friend, you actually have not idea of how latin dancing is... perhaps you may seek for some videos made by latin guys in order to learn a bit, those steps aren´t even similar to the real bachata style. Salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata, ballenato, casino, etc, etc requires something only latin people have: rythm to those beats, actually that´s why is not easy to us dance hip hop as the original style, we had to change it, exactly whath you are making to our rithms.

elentrado, if you know how to dance bachata you would know that they're off on MANY occasions. And the bird flapping thing they do (they should get their money back from their dance teacher), but on the serious tip -what they're dancing resembles the quebradita more so than bachata. Don't take it so hard. That's just how it is when you take a dance that has been danced by people since birth and tear it up like it has been done by these wacked teachers in the west coast.

en realidad tienen buenos pasos, bien ejecutados, solo un pokito de inconveniente, la bachata lleva algo conocido en ingles como beat, en español seria algo como el golpe o ritmo, lo cual ellos tomaban en un momento, pero salian en otro, buenos pasos, linda ejecucion, solo falta que sientan la bachata para ser exelentes bailarines, yo diria ke bailaron regular...
