Hi NY just discovered your music and think you have some brave and real stuff to say in the face of attitudes within Hip hop. As good as some tunes are the messages are not useful. I think the issue with soulja is that it is not HIM but the fact that he is a product in the same way as a Britney, or a J-lo -its about extracting cash from kids not honest communication. I some what agree with you. Don't like the term cooning. But it sure fits the case in many artist. MAKING MONEY IS NOT AN EXCUSS TO EXCUSS IGNORANCE. Everything about making it in Hip Hop is wrong. I blame the radio for the most part and the big mouth sell out DJ's like Flex etc. Cats like you I wouldn't know about or hear your music if it wasn't for internet.
