Correct me if I'm wrong, but what constitutes the genre of metal is the lyrics. While it could be argued that their lyrics are about death, their most underlying theme is obviouslky vikings. This is normally where people find the difference between black metal and death metal (I'm aware there are other diferences, but the lyrical content and style is probably the most predominant). Black metal is normally written about satan, hell, ect., while death metal is written about death.

Thanks for supplying the words to "Dem Guten Schönen Wahren". I always had trouble making them out (AD-II's German words being almost as obscure as the English.) The translation looks pretty good, although "Moloch" (according to Merriam Webster, a "Semitic god to whom children were sacrificed") needs to be capitalized. Also, some better-placed quotation marks would have helped, to distinguish the bad guy (high voice) from the judges turned executioners (low voices).

It is called "Foley Room." You should definitely pick it up ASAP, it is truly a work of art. One of my friends told me about how it was made mostly from recorded field sounds (such as ants chomping on grass) instead of pure sampling and I bought it that day. It is the only album I have actually paid for in the past 3 1/2 years (I could not wait to hear it, plus it comes with a cool DVD about the album's production). If you like it, check out "Matmos," they also use lots of obscure field sounds.
