ich denke, es war ein Unfall, möglich, dass sie etwas enerviert war und daher nicht aufgepasst hat, aber es war offenbar eine gefährliche Stelle, wo es schon vorher tödliche Unfälle gegeben hatte, und mit dem Mercedes Bj. 1959 war sie auch nicht vertraut, zudem hat er "gespuckt" (=Zicken gemacht)

I've never met the girl in the video but I love her and mourn her lost to me. God knows I've posted a shitload of comments about the song and Cavafy's poem, but sometimes a thing grabs you by the heart or balls and drags you to a cliff and you have to leap or cower away. I love this song like I love Frankenstein, its a monster I created, hopefully it won't end at the artic circle. But I digress...enjoy the music

After writing the last cooment I decided to look up Cavafy's poem. "The Gods Abandon Anthony" is a short lovely poem and its certain that this is the baseline of this song. Still its a beautiful song about love found and lost. And while the song concentrates on the lost it also celebrates the finding. Enjoy it, if its your first time hearing it I envy you.
